SUNSHINE
I'm in the midst of working on a comedy-drama called, Sunshine. Sunshine is a post-hangover consequence of a rushed relationship and unplanned pregnancy. This comedy short explores the turbulent choices made by Heulwen, a newly single mother and her relationship with moving back to home to the fishing village of Solva. Heulwen is mirthfully guided by members of the community whilst she navigates the complexities of her postpartum rage and breakup with with her ex, Scott. Sunshine offers a raw and authentic portrayal of the imperfect reality of living in one of Wales' most picturesque yet unaffordable locations in Wales and when faced with adversity, the strength of a village is paramount in overcoming life’s challenges.

Originally names as "FUCKERY" this project was conceived for the stage and received support from the Sherman Theatre Unheard Writers group and was later showcased at a Dirty Protest Scratch night.
